Hacienda na Xamena Destination Wedding, Ibiza

Kenzee & mason

A multi-location Ibiza wedding - what would you do with a weekend in Ibiza?

Our first conversation with Kenzee and Mason was an undeniably exciting one. When the US-based couple decided to host 50 of their closest family and friends in Ibiza, Spain, they wanted an event that captured the local culture’s food, music, and atmosphere without sacrificing quality or sophistication. We immediately knew that this event had the potential to be a beautiful intersection of their history with Ibiza and our passion for high-quality experiences, rural tranquillity, and minimalist event design. As Kenzee shared after the weekend, "it is hard to put into words how much Emma contributed to making our wedding everything we hoped for."

Highlights

  • US-based client

  • Guests: 50 guests

  • Event duration: 3 days

  • Venues: Hacienda na Xamena, Ukami Ibiza, Pomelo Playa

  • Guest accommodation: OKU Ibiza

  • Design narrative: sophisticated and minimalist 'Ibiza island cool'

  • Key features: marina welcome party, sunset cliffside ceremony, Spanish tiles as keepsakes, live handpan percussionist

Day one: spicy margaritas and sunset marinas

A sunset marina setting was a special request from the couple, so we opened the weekend at Ukami Ibiza, a local fusion restaurant in a vibrant part of the island. Guests enjoyed a Japanese-Mexican fusion dinner featuring Wagyu Yakiniku, cochinita pilpil bao, maki and nigiri rolls, traditional Balearic greixonera, and spicy margaritas.

Day two: peace then party

We travelled up to the quieter northern side of the island, where Kenzee and Mason exchanged vows in the cliffside amphitheatre at Hacienda Na Xamena - the intoxicating hum of cicadas mingling with panoramic views of the Mediterranean ocean. Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed sunset rooftop drinks accompanied by a live handpan percussionist before moving to dinner at long, curving tables (where we used chic restaurant-style table lamps rather than heat-emanating candles). Custom mini Spanish tiles doubled as guest keepsakes and paperweights for the menus. And later, guests moved into a once-sterile space, now transformed into a dark, draped nightclub featuring a DJ and live saxophonist.

Day three: sea and sunbeds

Kenzee has always had an intense love for the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean ocean, so we naturally concluded the celebration at Pomelo Playa on Cala Gracio - a chiringuito located a short walk from the guests’ accommodation at OKU Ibiza. We privatized an area of sunbeds and organized beach games for a mildly boozy, sun-soaked afternoon by the water.

Transatlantic planning and logistics

Because Kenzee and Mason chose to hold a symbolic ceremony in Spain, saving civil formalities for the US, the entire weekend could focus purely on the guest experience. However, planning an island celebration across multiple locations requires a deep understanding of local networks and a watertight production plan.

Beyond managing an extensive supplier team, site transformations, and private shuttle transfers across three separate venues, we acted as a cultural liaison for both our couple and the supplier team. This created an important buffer of understanding and clear communication between both parties, eliminating the friction of remote planning and ensuring the event ran effortlessly from start to finish.

"I really don’t know what I would have done without Emma. She kept us on track with a clear timeline from start to finish, making the entire planning process feel calm and manageable. Beyond being an incredible planner, Emma (and Luke!) are genuinely wonderful people. Our family and friends absolutely loved them and they were such a positive presence during our 3-day event. I recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for someone organized, thoughtful, and truly invested in making your day everything you hoped it would be."
